The MoU is as follows:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Pertubuhan Ukur Jurutera Dan Arkitek [PUJA] (Brunei) and Brunei Institution of Geomatics (BIG) see benefits to members of both professional parties in establishing a Memorandum of Understanding between the two (2) Institutions and agree the following:-<\/span><\/div>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\">PUJA (Brunei) and BIG will build and maintain a long term co-operative relationship and encourage the exchange of professional knowledge and development.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\">PUJA (Brunei) and BIG will collaborate in: \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0a)\u00a0<\/span>Co-branding of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) events and to offer members of PUJA (Brunei) and BIG the same rates for such events. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0b)\u00a0Sponsorship of professional events.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Each professional body will notify the other of any proposed merger or major constitutional change.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The leadership of PUJA (Brunei) and BIG will meet at least once in every two (2) years or earlier to discuss matters of common interest.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\">PUJA (Brunei) and BIG will keep each other informed of major changes that are of interest to the other.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\">In the event of either of the professional bodies wishing to end this agreement, at least one (1) year\u2019s written notice shall be served to the other party.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1452\" src=\"https:\/\/bruneigeomatics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/BIG-PUJA-Logo-PNG.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"130\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bruneigeomatics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/BIG-PUJA-Logo-PNG.png 400w, https:\/\/bruneigeomatics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/BIG-PUJA-Logo-PNG-300x98.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between\u00a0Pertubuhan Ukur Jurutera Dan Arkitek [PUJA] (Brunei) and Brunei Institution of Geomatics (BIG) will be signed on 17 May 2014 in conjunction with Surveyors Night 2014.
